SpaceX launches CRS-23 mission to the International Space Station

Orginally meant to launch early Saturday morning, the launch had to be pushed back 24 hours due to unfavorable weather.

Sunday morning's launch attempt came with much more favorable launch weather allowing SpaceX to follow through with the launch countdown.

SpaceX's CRS-23 rocket lifted off from LC-39A at 3:14 a.m. EDT. Lighting up the skies around Florida's space coast.

With it it carried fresh supplies and new experiments for the ISS's 7 crew members.

SpaceX succesfully deployed the Dragon spacecraft and is currently on its way to the space station.
